Who, What, & Why

My name is Cathleen.  I am the founder of the Him Centered Coaching, an outreach program of Under The Horizon, LLC.  I am a dedicated and loving wife, momma, and daughter.  I run a successful outreach-based pottery studio, help my husband with his professional audio/visual business, work hard on my health and fitness goals, am a black belt in karate, work on home restoration, and more!  I am always on the move with my family and work... I LOVE IT!  My lifestyle is full of both “Yes” and “Amen” in my decision making and my movements.

I have also suffered, dealt with severe depression, and wanted to give up.

In the fall of 2021, God placed a healing journey on my heart. Like other life callings, I thought He must be nuts! I had been praying for physical and emotional healing for a long time. 2020 about broke me and I was reeling from the aftermath despite the amazing blessings of 2021.

January 2021 began my physical healing journey. This journey has been full of God glorifying self-control and discipline! What an incredible ride!

I learned self-control on the smallest tasks which lead to larger health and fitness goals being achieved. With self-control I was able to "hush" the noise of the world and develop a more God-centered lifestyle.  

MY LIFE HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED

It has been on my heart to help other women desiring a similar path.  With this, I started “Him Centered Coaching.” 

I am not a pastor, fitness coach or a nutritionist. I am a Christian woman who has walked, and continues to walk, the path of healing.  I research and seek tools to utilize in order to glorify God through self-control while achieving my life's goals. 

Having "been-there-done-that" I have the tools and understanding to help you work towards a lifestyle with a basis of self-control, that builds freedom and is anchored in growing of your faith.  

I desire to help other women who are struggling with health and fitness learn how to have a God Centered fitness and health journey.
